Ok I’ll be updating this most often since a lot of my friends and relatives don’t have myspace and it’s an easy place to write all this stuff.

12/18

7:20pm water breaks
9:00pm I’m in my hospital suite (room 330 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Beaverton)

10:43 I’m HUNGRY!!!!! Can’t eat until after he’s born damnit!

I’ll keep adding to this as things happen. This wil be the first place pictures get posted as well.

If you have any questions, comments or whatever just let me know here :D

YEEEHAW! I’m calling J at work to let him know!

We were talking about all this probably just as her water was breaking. Oh, the irony.

  15. on 19 Dec 2006 at 5:04 pm Steve & Cori

    Hey Guys,
That boy’s as stubborn as his mother. Hope all is well with you & may God be with you on this blessed event.

  16. on 19 Dec 2006 at 6:29 pm Chris

6:28pm still no baby, but we did get another epidural and some heavy pushing out of the way. Lots of fun here (and by fun we mean Zoe’s looking to murder the guilty parties and that somehow doesn’t include her :D )

  17. on 19 Dec 2006 at 6:50 pm Jason

    You are so screwed.

  18. on 19 Dec 2006 at 9:44 pm Amanda

No matter how bad you expect it to be, you never know how bad it really is until you’ve done it!
    Baby yet?
I hope she doesn’t have to have a cesarean!
Push like you have to poop Zoe! That’s the key!

  19. on 19 Dec 2006 at 10:22 pm Kenneth Rougeau

    6:28pm…

    Final update:

2:52am: kill me I’m too tired but can’t stop looking at my son. Zoe is passed out, xandr is passed out. Why am I not asleep yet? Oh wait I know that one. I was posting pics to my flickr account.

Baby Pictures post on my blog

Ok now I crash out hard. Also the baby is astoundingly cute right now.

  24. on 20 Dec 2006 at 5:37 am Amanda

He is adorable. And huge. I still don’t know how on earth Zoe delivered an 8 pound 13 oz baby, she appears to be TINY. Glad he’s finally here, and no, there is NOTHING like the first time you hold your child, and that is true whether it is your first or third. However, there is nothing like the first time you hold your first, you have no idea how amazing it is until you’ve done it! Huh Chris and Zoe??
    CONGRATULATIONS, GUYS!!!!!

  25. on 20 Dec 2006 at 7:50 am Jen

I couldn’t be more happy for you guys! Congratulations!

  26. on 20 Dec 2006 at 8:47 am Kenneth Rougeau

A handful of my MySpace peeps send their love and congratulations your way. Pop by and have a look at the comments if/when you get the time & inclination.

    Love you guys! :)

Wow! I am sooo happy for you both! It’s so great to bring a child into the world. Chris - I know exactly how you feel - and congrats on being a new daddy! :-) It is amazing that we’ve known each other for so long and we both became first time daddies 8 months apart - (and both sons)! Give the family our best. We hope to have our new sons meet sometime soon. I am sure they will be next to each other in the SCV Tenor Line. Hehehe. Take care and enjoy your new fatherhood.

    Love ya and Merry Christmas!!

    Tony, Amy, and Anton

[…] For those of you just tuning in, I managed to realtime update the page on Zoe’s blog about the birthing process quite frequently. Well we’re done now. He’s beautiful and there will be pictures later but for now, we’re parents and it rules! […]
